Membership, Communications & Database Assistant (National)

Hemochromatosis is the most common genetic disorder afflicting Canadians. It is a crippling, potentially fatal condition caused by iron overload in the blood and tissues. The several complications caused by this disorder are preventable. The Canadian Hemochromatosis Society is dedicated to building awareness of hemochromatosis and its early screening, diagnosis and treatment.

The Canadian Hemochromatosis Society is currently seeking for someone to assist our Office Manager in our national office located in Richmond. The position includes communicating with our membership by phone and in correspondence, recording information in our database, processing requests for information, newsletters and other materials.

Familiarity with Microsoft database and spreadsheet applications an asset. Bilingual English/French an asset.

We highly value our volunteers and when employment opportunities arise, we consider our volunteers first.
