Partners For Life Team hits 301

In 2014, the Canadian Hemochromatosis Society set an ambitious goal for its Canadian Blood Services Partners for Life team: to grow its blood donations to 400 units for the year when the team had achieved less than half that amount in 2013. The result? A total of 301 units were donated, which is a huge increase over last year’s donation total of 198 units and a great step forward! Can more members join the Society’s Partners for Life team and help keep up this pace?

The team’s goal for 2015 has been set to 400 units again. Please help CHS and its Partners for Life team do its part to supply the Canadian blood system with at least 400 units in 2015! If you haven’t done so already, please register yourself with the Canadian Hemochromatosis Society’s Partners for Life team at www.blood.ca/joinpartnersforlife, and use our Partner ID # CANA002257. Register once and donations made at any Canadian Blood Services clinic will be tracked toward the hemochromatosis team. Any donations already made in 2015 will be counted retroactively to January 1, 2015. Let’s make the silver lining of hemochromatosis shine!
