The Canadian Hemochromatosis Society is working with the Canadian Arthritis Society to raise public awareness about the connection between hereditary hemochromatosis (HHC) and arthritis. It is estimated that 30% of people with HHC suffer from some form of arthritis. The Arthritis Society has asked us to produce a fact sheet to post on its website. The fact sheet can be downloaded by clicking here. If you have family members or friends with Arthritis who are of Celtic or Northern European descent, you may want to send them the fact sheet.
