Theurapeutic Recommendations

An internationally approved set of recommendations for the treatment of hemochromatosis in C282Y homozygotes has been published. These guidelines are practical, brief, and serve to be helpful for both patients and medical professionals.

These guidelines were published in Hepatology International in March. The Canadian Hemochromatosis Society, along with other member organizations of Haemochromatosis International, contributed to the cost of publishing the recommendations with open access. Recommandations thérapeutiques

Un ensemble de recommandations approuvées au niveau international pour le traitement de l’hémochromatose chez les homozygotes C282Y a été publié. Ces directives sont pratiques, brèves et utiles pour les patients et les professionnels de la santé.

Ces directives ont été publiées dans la revue Hepatology International en mars. La Société canadienne de l’hémochromatose, ainsi que d’autres organisations membres d’Haemochromatosis International, a contribué aux coûts de publication des recommandations en accès libre.
