Blood Blitz!

We are rallying together to encourage all people with hemochromatosis who are eligible to donate blood, along with their friends and family, to donate at any of the Canadian Blood Services donor locations across Canada during this Blood Blitz week!

Did you know that people with hereditary hemochromatosis can donate their blood providing all other eligibility criteria are met? Check your eligibility here. Individuals with hemochromatosis can donate every 56 days for men and 84 days for women, which is the usual interval for whole blood donation at Canadian Blood Services.

Book your appointment for a date between November 18 and 22 at a donor centre near you.  Next, register with the Canadian Hemochromatosis Partners For Life Team using our Partner ID#CANA002257 to pool your donation with other hemochromatosis sufferers, and show how much of a contribution our hemochromatosis community can make to save lives!
